We went here for a Sunday lunch and had a great time. Excellent service from smiling servers. Food portions ample and very well presented. Food taste was good. A great choice

Had a wonderful Sunday roast, overnight stay & breakfast at The Roslin hotel, a birthday treat from my hubby & to finish our stay off I had a spa treatment, bought by my son. Very friendly helpful staff.

We booked a family Sunday lunch. There was 12 of us in total. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Their menu suited all of us and the food was superb and plentiful . Great value for money and would definitely recommend.

Called in for Sunday lunch, had a great Sunday lunch very large portions and cooked to perfection.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Surprised a Turkish restaurant serving a perfect English roast.....
Can't recommend this place enough, next visit will be for the Turkish menu.

Just had an excellent Sunday lunch. Staff are friendly, attentive and well presented.
We ordered starters which came out quickly and was very nice - especially the salt and pepper squid.
I ordered roast sirloin of beef and was asked how I wanted it cooked which a lot of other places fail to do these days.
I asked for rare and it came out perfectly.
My wife ordered the pan fried chicken as did my daughter (child’s portion). Both of which they throughly enjoyed.
Would definitely return and would recommend to anyone.

BARRU Turkish, Westcliff on Sea.
Nice surroundings and friendly service.
Shared a a starter of gorgeous things including falafel, hummus, calamari, sausage, and lots more….then went on to share a feast and what a feast it was! Rice and bulgerwheat bedding a multitude of perfectly cooked meats with a beautiful salad on the side. So much food that we had to split the remainder into two doggie bags! What a gem this place is! Definitely be back to try other things off of the menu!

LEIGH BISTRO, Leigh on Sea
We visited this restaurant on Sunday. You are always welcomed by the staff and seated immediately. There is always a good selection of food and they will always cater for anyone with allergies. I had goats cheese tart for starters which was very tasty. For mains I had rack of lamb which was so tender and very tasty. For sweet I had chocolate fondue and vanilla ice cream. It’s extremely good value for money. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This is by far the best Sunday roast dinner I have had locally, staff are friendly and the carver is always fresh.
There is an “a la carte” one, but I would definitely recommend the set menu, excellent value for money, either 2 or 3 courses, and not to dissimilar to the “a la carte”.
For starters my husband had the whitebait, which he thoroughly enjoyed, and an extremely generous portion.
For the mains, we had the the saddle of lamb, the liver and bacon and 2 of the salmon en croute. Every plate was delicious, once again, excellent portions, perfectly seasoned and presented so well. All of us spoke about the quality of the dishes and the sauces that accompanied them.

Was at Boatyard on Sunday Lunchtime with family and friends, great choice of roast dinners and quality meats. Drinks brought promptly and food orders taken promptly. The food was lovely and again delivered promptly. The starters were tasty and nicely presented. My mains, medium roast beef, was perfect and plenty of it. The vegetables also very nice. The staff were very efficient and helpful.
